The IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB offers four high-quality educational programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-related Programme (CP). Learn more about this program by visiting the CPS IB Website.

Magnet schools focus their curriculum on one particular subject area, such as math/science, humanities, Montessori, or world language. Most elementary Magnet schools do not have attendance boundaries, so students from across the city are able to apply to attend. Magnet Cluster schools are neighborhood schools (have an attendance boundary) that also focus their curriculum on one of four subject areas:  fine and performing arts, world language, technology, or International Baccalaureate Primary or Middle Years. Learn more about this program by visiting the Magnet website.
